Brief Biography: Undergraduate degrees in Music and International Realtions from Drake University in Des Moines, IA. After graduating, I moved to Chengde, China (Hebei Province) to teach English to students at Chengde Teachers’ College for Nationalities (Shizhuan).

Future plans and career Goals: My career goal is to either write for a classical music magazine, like “BBC Classical Music Magazine” or “Opera Times,” or write about international women’s issues.
Why I am interested in religion: I really enjoy learning about the aspects of different religions, and I studied Judaism and Sufism during my undergraduate career.
Other Interests: I play piano and teach piano lessons to elementary students.
