Wall Street Journal reporter to speak on American Islam

Paul M. Barrett, a senior writer for the WSJ will be speaking at 7 p.m. in Fisher Auditorium at the MU School of Journalism on issues that face Muslim Americans. He will offer his insight into the upcoming presidential election, particularly on which way the Muslim vote is leaning.
Barrett received a Missouri Lifestye Journalism Award in 2004 for his article, “Radical Politics - Idaho Arrest Puts Muslim Students Under Scrutiny.” Barrett will also be on hand after the forum to sign copies of his book.
The lecture is sponsored by the Center for Religion and the Professions at MU.
